In a recent post on X, the official account of the U.S. Embassy in Syria spotlighted the crucial work of the Syrian Emergency Task Force (SETF), a U.S.-based non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Syrians amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis. Founded in 2011, SETF has been instrumental in providing essential services to vulnerable communities in Syria.

The embassy’s post highlighted SETF’s establishment of several key projects, including their school for orphans “The Wisdom House” in the Aleppo countryside, which offers education and hope to war-torn communities. Additionally, SETF has set up “Tomorrow’s Dawn” a women’s center and girls’ secondary school in Idlib, empowering women and girls through education and vocational training.
The post also highlighted the Hope Pharmacy in Rukban camp, an initiative by SETF that provides free medicine to camp residents, ensuring that those in one of Syria’s most vulnerable regions have access to critical healthcare.
The U.S. Embassy’s recognition of SETF’s efforts serves as a reminder of the ongoing need for international support in addressing the humanitarian crisis in Syria, and it highlights the impactful work being done by organizations like SETF on the ground.
